Could this be the start of Catastrophic Contagion?

Bad news everyone. There are reports in China of children in Beijing and Liaoning filling up hospitals with a new mysterious pneumonia-like illness. This is similar to the so-called “fictional” illness SEERS (or Severe Epidemic Enterovirus Respiratory Syndrome). It was simulated in the pandemic exercise Catastrophic Contagion. From the John Hopkins website “The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in partnership with WHO and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, conducted Catastrophic Contagion, a pandemic tabletop exercise at the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting in Brussels, Belgium.” Just like SEERS the disease predominantly effects children. I genuinely hope this isn’t what I think it is.
